Yes, these are still built on the Excel Spreadsheet!

Click on the circuit breakers and they open/close. But, make sure that you correctly bypassed the CB or the city lights go out!

Click on the disconnect switches and they open/close. But, don't break load with a disconnect or you will burn it up, make it unusable and put the city in the dark!

Try adjusting the DETC; but, you better do it right!

Each of these switching modules was built to the exacting standards of a different utility's training staff.

Each of these switching modules have slightly different features that can give your beginning system operator or station operator a different feel for substations. It's like switching in your own subs, no two are exactly alike! 

The Switching Modules that you will buy each have a "Sign-In" Page and an "Operations Log". This gives you (as training proctor) the opportunity to give the "switchman/operator" a task and verify the outcome. Every action that is taken by the operator is logged onto the operations log. You can see the total number of operations used to accomplish the task. You can see the number of errors. You can see the resulting grade for the student that signed in.

There are a couple of "Gotchas" built in too, so they better watch what they are doing!
